Have a ...

Good afternoon. I have a fun card to share with you today featuring Rubbernecker Stamps.

Today's card features one of the dogs and sentiments available in the Dogs 1 Clear Stamp Set (3010). I love this dog who is a/k/a Willie from the rubber stamp line ... he is so fun and adorable. Willie was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers. He was fussy cut out and paper-pieced back together prior to adding him the background panel I created with Tim Holtz Distress Ink. The "Howl of a Day" sentiment is part of the Stamp Set, which I cut out with one of the Small Frame Dies Set (950D).

I pulled out some very old Design Paper from my stash called The Pet Stack from DCWV to create the background for today's card, which was inspired by MFT Sketch #328.

Here is a closer look at the Willie ...

This stamp set is so much fun to work with, which can be used for so many different occasions and combined with any sentiment to brighten someones day.

You are ...

Good afternoon. Today I'm popping in to share some inspiration for the NEW Rubberneckers Stamps Challenge #8 ~ Mother's Day.

I love this adorable Teddy Bear (895-05) and think he is perfect for a Mother's Day card. He was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink a couple of times. Copic Markers were used to color the bear, and Colorless Blender was added to a piece of Burlap which I blotted over the bear to add texture. After this dried, I fussy cut the bear out and put him on the side. Next I added color to the flower on the other copy of the stamp, and used one of the circles in the Small Frame Dies Set (950D) to cut it out. Tim Holtz Mowed Lawn was applied under the bear to create grass and Tumbled Glass was applied for the sky. I then paper-pieced the colored bear using a combination of adhesive and 3D Foam Squares.

One of the Best Friends Etc Sentiments (3032) was added to white cardstock that was embossed with an impression plate from Papertry Ink. A couple strips of design paper scraps were added to the panel, and layered on my cardbase. Another circle was cut out using the same cardstock as the cardbase and added under the Teddy Bear (895-05) panel then popped on my background with 3D Foam Tape. The final step was to add a white pearl in the center of the flower.

You are a Rare Bird ...

Good morning! Today's card features the adorable Birds of a Feather Flock Together (G370) and Rare Bird Sentiment (E892) from Great Impressions Stamps.

I simply adore these birds and couldn't wait to play with them. I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink along the edge of my card with the sentiment in the lower left hand corner. I also stamped the image a couple more times an extra cardstock. Coloring medium is a combination of Copic Markers, Faber-Castell Pitt Brush Markers, with the background sky created with Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass and Stormy Sky Distress Ink.

I colored the extra birds only and fussy cut part of the birds out, and layered them on with  3D foam squares. It's a little hard to see in the photo's but the top bird is truly in flight and the 2nd bird is sitting on top of the branch.

Sing in the Rain ...

Good afternoon, and I'm sorry for the late post. I'm sharing a Spring card that I made featuring stamps from Rubbernecker Stamps.

I created today's card with the lovely Summer Girl Breezy 676-01 and one of the sentiments and borders from the Freehand Border Phrase Set 900. Memento Tuxedo Black Ink was used for the stamps, and Copic Markers are the medium used for coloring the girl. Tim Holtz Distress Ink was used for the sky and sandy ground, and Glossy Accents added to represent raindrops.

Here is a closer look at the lovely girl ...
