You're so Very Special to me ...

Good morning! Today I'm sharing a CAS card featuring the Elegant Butterflies and So Very Special sentiment from Great Impressions Stamps.

For today's card I inked up the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, then used two different shades of pink dye ink on the butterflies and stamped them going up the panel. Next, I applied some Tumbled Distress Ink with a dauber around the butterflies. Final step was to layer the panel on two different shades of pink cardstock, and then my cardbase.

I love working with the Elegant Butterflies. Just by changing the color of the butterflies, you can use the Elegant Butterflies for any season.

Caffeine Addict ...

Good afternoon and Happy Monday to all of you! Just popping in to share a card that was inspired by the Sugar Pea Mix It Up Challenge #3 (shown below) using some of my Sugar Pea stamps and dies.

I mixed up the Sugar Pea Mix It Up Challenge #3 (shown below) by using both the sketch and colors from the challenge.

I pulled out some Papertry Ink Tropical Teal cardstock for the base, and cut out my coffee cup with the SugarCuts Coffee To Go Cup and put it on the side. Going with the polka dot theme for the paper I used my Polka Dots Impressions Plate from Papertry Ink on White cardstock, and also cut out the lid and wrap with my dies for the coffee cup.

Once I put together the card base featuring Teal, White, and some Cherry Petite Polka Dots cardstock from AMS, I popped up the coffee cup using 3D foam squares. After stamping the heart and wrap from the coordinating Sugar Pea Caffeine Addict Stamp Set with Memento Rhubarb Stalk Ink, I layered it on my coffee cup. Next up is the Caffeine Addict sentiment which I stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black, cut out with a 1" EKS Circle Punch, and added to my card with 3D foam squares. The final step, to add a little extra pop of color, are the YNS Teal Gumdrops.

Happy Father's Day ...

Good morning! Today I'm sharing a CAS card that was inspired by the Sunday Stamps Challenge #128 ~ Sketch (see below) featuring the Seaside Lighthouse and Father's Day sentiment from Great Impressions Stamps.

This week I pulled out my Copic Markers to color in the lovely Seaside Lighthouse, added some Tim Holtz Distress Ink for the sky background, used a yellow color pencil to add the light coming out of the lighthouse, and layered all onto my CAS background. I then stamped the Father's Day Sentiment onto vellum, used some mini glue dots to adhere it over my image, and then added the navy enamel dots to cover the glue dots.

Wishing you get well wishes ...

Good morning! Today I'm sharing a CAS card that was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #240 (see below) featuring the Well Wishes stamp from Great Impressions Stamps.

This week instead of using an ink pad for my Well Wishes stamp I applied different Marvy LePlume Markers directly to the stamp, huffed on it to reactivate the ink, and then I stamped the image onto Ranger White Watercolor paper. I then proceeded to use my pallet, paintbrush and water to color the image. Once done, I used a dauber to apply some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink around the image, and layered it on the background I created and the cardbase.

Here is a closer look at Well Wishes ...

Happy Father's Day ...

Good morning and Happy Sunday! It's the first Sunday of the month and time for a new Challenge over at the Great Impressions Blog.

This month's Challenge is "Anything Goes".

Father's Day is fast approaching so I decided to create a Father's Day card for my Father-in-Law featuring the Old Pickup Truck (G333) and Father's Day Sentiment (C380) for Great Impressions Stamps.

I stamped the Old Pickup Truck on Watercolor Paper with Ranger Brown Archival Ink then commenced with watercoloring the image and background with some Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads, Marvy LePlume Markers, pallet, paintbrush and water. Once the image was dry I used my MFT Pcd Rect STAX to cut out the image and 2-pieces of CCS Flavours Gourmet Moroccan Cocao, and put them on the side. Next I pulled out some MME design paper, cut a rectangular piece and layered it onto some Paperty Ink Rustic White cardstock (card base), stamped the Happy Father's Day Sentiment which I cut apart to fit on 1-line along the bottom, added a Border Sticker on the other half of the card, and then layered my Moroccan Cocao pieces with the images popped up with 3D Foam Tape.

I really like the rustic feel of this card, and know that my Father-in-law will love it.

To say goodbye, and thank you, we're celebrating with a Blog Hop! You should have arrived from Rosi. However, if you just arrived make sure you head on over to House of Cards so you can start at the beginning.

We have several fabulous Sponsors who generously offered prizes for the Hop! Make sure you leave a comment at each person's blog along the way because the prizes are hidden, and we'll be doing random drawings from the blogs where the prizes are hidden! After you're done, make a creation to share with us for another chance to win!

Inspiration Photo ...

Now for our fabulous Sponsors!
Our team will be using a variety of products from these amazing companies!

Now for my creations that were inspired by the colors in the Photo Inspiration ...

My first card features a lovely Wicker Daisy Basket and Being You Sentiment from Great Impressions. I stamped the image and sentiment with Jet Black Archival Ranger Ink onto a Stathmore Watercolor Notecard, and used my Marvy LePlume Markers, pallet, paintbrush and water to color the image. The Notecard comes with matching envelopes so I couldn't resist stamping a partial image and adding a bit of coloring to the basket.

My second card features one of the super cool sentiments that is part of Big Notes from Reverse Confetti. I stamped the sentiment with Jet Black Archival Ranger Ink on Ranger White Watercolor Paper, and applied Gelatos to the the whole panel in Red, Pink, Green and Yellow. Once done I used a sprayed water on the panel with my Mini Mister, and used a sponge to blend the colors together. After the panel dried I used 3D Foam Tape to layer the panel onto Lemon Drop Paper from MFT, and added some Lemon Gumdrops from YNS.

This hop will run from June 1st at 6:00 AM CST through June 15th at Noon CST, any card style is welcome and we've got a gorgeous photo inspiration for your crafting enjoyment! Your next stop in the hop is Shawna!

Don't forget to leave a comment on each post along the hop, and then link up a project with us after completing the hop for an extra chance to win a Mystery Prize from one of our fabulous Sponsors.

Until next time ... Enjoy!
